CIE Research Webinar "CIE Research Strategy 2023-2027"

A recording of the CIE webinar, on  "CIE Research Strategy 2023-2027," held October 2024, and presented by Dr. Jennifer Veitch, is now available. It can also be accessed through the CIE website.
This recording is an excellent opportunity for researchers, research organizations, research funders and funding agencies to gain insights into the future direction of the CIE's research initiatives. Feel free to distribute this link through your colleagues.

Joint CORM & CIE-USNC Conference 2024

The Council for Optical Radiation Measurement (CORM) and the US CIE National Committee (CIE-USNC ) held a virtual three day conference, 12-14 November, 2024. Presenations from that meeting are available on the CORM website.

CIE-USNC and IES  Webinar: "Measuring Light for Vision, Health, and Everything Else”

The US CIE National Committee (CIE-USNC), in collaboration with the Illuminating Engineering Society (IES), hosted a webinar on the history and use of V(λ) on 25 October, 2024. The presentation celebrates V(λ)’s history and shows how we combine it with CIE metrology for ipRGC-influenced light effects. It also touches on lighting recommendations, including ANSI/IES RP-46-23, which supports the physiological and behavioural effects of lighting in interior environments.
